2 fall athletes earn All-American honors

Madison College women’s soccer team and volleyball team had two players that were honored with NJCAA All-Americans accolades.  Both were honored as second-team All-Americans, with  sophomores Jenna Kohrt and Cathleen Flannery given the honors. 

Kohrt, from Monona, became the second of the women’s soccer player to be named the N4C MVP and Region IV player of the year, along with the All-American honors. Kohrt is now ranked 10th in team history for goals in a season, and 11th in career goals with 11.  Kohrt ended her season with 10 goals and three assists.

Cathleen Flannery, from Green Bay, became the sixth volleyball player to be named N4C conference MVP.  Flannery also was also named all-conference and all-region.  Flannery ended her season with 233 kills, 46 aces, 227 digs, and 26 blocks.
