The Madison College Honors Program will hold its spring semester Honors Competition on Friday, May 8, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. in Truax Room D3638. There will be more than 30 honors presentations during the event. Guests are welcome to come and go as their schedules allow.
The Honors Competition is held at the end of the fall and spring semesters. Students present their projects to a panel of judges including faculty, staff and administrators from across the college.
Students have eight minutes to present their projects followed by a question-and-answer period with the judges. Winners are announced at the end of the competition.
First, second and third place winners are selected and are awarded cash prizes and a trophy. Winners from both semesters also receive financial support to present their projects at the Upper Midwest Regional Honors Council Conference.
