Lori Sanders

A 5-foot, 10-inch sophomore on the Madison College volleyball team, Lori Sanders has started 27 matches at middle blocker this season. She has 140 kills and 59 total blocks, including 27 solo blocks. Last year, she played middle blocker and middle hitter for the UW-Baraboo/Sauk County Fight Spirits.

Sanders was a two-time letter winner in volleyball at Portage High School, where she was named first team all-conference (Badger North) and team captain her senior season in volleyball. An occupational therapy major at Madison College, she is the daughter of Denise and Willis Turk.

A 6-foot, 1-inch forward on the Madison College men’s soccer team, Shane Patterson has played in 17 matches this season and made 11 starts.

He finished second on the team in goals scored with nine and had three assists. He took 40 shots this season, 36 on goal, and had two game-winning goals.

Patterson is a natie of Catterick Garrison in North Yorkshire, England. He attended Richmond Sixth Form College in Richmond. An accounting major at Madison College, he is the son of Sean Paterson and Tracy Salthouse.
