MEN’S SOCCER

Saxon LaFlash

A sophomore goalkeeper for the Madison College men’s soccer team, LaFlash played in 14 games last season and had 37 saves on the year. LaFlash played the whole game against Anoka-Ramsey Community College, LaFlash also had a 100% save rating on the game. 

LaFlash, a Madison native, was a four-year participant in soccer as a goalkeeper and three-time letter winner for Madison Memorial High School.  Named most improved his junior season, and honorable mention all-conference (Big Eight), and team captain his senior season. He is the son of Jason and Lisa LaFlash.

VOLLEYBALL

Sage Esser

A sophomore Libero for the Madison College Volleyball team, Esser has a team high 39 digs on the young season.  In the 2018 season Esser had 60 digs in 67 sets played.  In the six games so far this season Esser has had three games where she had 10 or more digs in a game. 

Esser a native of Mt. Horeb was a four-year participant and two-time letter winner in volleyball.  Esser was selected as Mt. Horeb’s Defensive Player of the Year.  Esser’s dream job is an elementary school teacher, and is the daughter of Stacey and Kevin Esser.
