The Madison College Fort Atkinson Regional Campus is located 31 miles southeast from the Madison College Main Campus. This provides a convenient location for students in the area to take and complete college courses and access student services.
Madison College Campus Service Manager Kallie Schultz mentioned that the full programs of Metal Fabrication and Welding are offered at the regional location from start to finish. Students can complete the courses in the fall, spring and summer terms. They can enroll in both programs, known as the Bolt-On Program.
Fort Atkinson also provides the pre-program requirements for the Practical Nursing Program. Students can take two semester requirements of the practical nursing program at the Fort Atkinson location. The campus also offers Nursing Assistant classes every semester. They are hoping to offer Phlebotomy in Spring 2026.
The regional location also offers other first semester classes such as English, Math and Psychology. They offer Pre-Health Sciences which include Chemistry, Anatomy and Physiology.
There is a full welcome center at the campus. Students can make payments, sign up for classes, have questions answered, pick up textbooks, laptops and hotspots. They have access to a food pantry, GED/HSED preparation and completion, disability resource services, counseling, tutoring, academic and career advising, financial aid and work smart. There is a library that provides quiet study spaces for students. They also have free parking at the location.
The Fort Atkinson Regional Campus will be hosting their 3rd Annual Metal Mania on Oct. 9. This is a Welding Art Competition and Open House. They will have a job fair and hands-on demonstrations for the competition. The theme this year is Strong Welds Stronger Healthcare.
