Starting on Sept. 2, the shuttle service between Madison College’s Truax Campus and Goodman South Campus will resume.
At Goodman South, the shuttle service runs on the hour from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The shuttle pickup/drop off is located in the main parking lot on the sidewalk.
At the Truax Campus, the shuttle service leaves campus on the half hour from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The shuttle pick up/drop off is located off the Gateway Entrance near the bike rack.
Transportation Service coordinator Allison Glodoski encourages students to join the WolfPack Connect Transportation Service page for notifications or updates, as well as any delays or rare cancellations.
The shuttle service was started by the Madison College Senate in 2000 and it remains a strong and useful means of transportation for students.
Newly updated bus passes
Madison College has transitioned to a new Madison Metro system, with newly designed and updated bus passes.
Students with “old” bus passes issued last semester do not need new ones this semester, the old ones will remain active. Bus passes are still considered “active” as long as a student is enrolled. Passes will be deactivated 10 days after the end of the semester.
The bus passes are supported through student commuter fees. Bus passes can be issued to currently enrolled, degree-credit students who are taking in-person classes (or hybrid classes with an in-person component) at the Truax, Goodman South or Commercial Avenue Student Life campuses.
If classes are fully online, students will not be charged this fee as part of their tuition and would not automatically qualify for a bus pass. However, any current student may purchase a bus pass and “buy into” the program.
