Student-parent fellowship open for applications

Special to The Clarion

As part of Madison College’s participation in FamilyU, which is offered by Generation Hope, a nonprofit organization that is working with colleges and universities to create more family-friendly campuses across the country, we are proud to announce a one-year fellowship opportunity for our student-parents.
This fellowship will not only allow a student-parent to provide expertise and insights on the student-parent experience but to advocate for and create student-parent supports alongside faculty and staff.
The selected student-parent will also receive a $20,000 stipend for their participation.
To be eligible for this opportunity, applicants must be a current student-parent, providing regular care to child(ren) under the age of 13 and must be enrolled for the length of the 2023-2024 academic year.

Applications are due by Monday, March 20. To apply, visit https://generation_hope.formstack.com/forms/studentparentfellow_application_2023.
