Unattended laptops reported stolen in cafeteria

Public Safety Officers respond to many calls for service and we communicate our activities to the college community. Here are some of the notable incidents from the past couple weeks. 

On March 4, two laptops and a pair of headphones were reported stolen from near the Truax building cafeteria. The incident is still under investigation. If you have any information or observed anything suspicious in that area, please contact Public Safety. 

On March 8, property damage and graffiti were located in the men’s restroom in the “E” section of the third floor of the Truax building. If you have any information regarding this incident, please contact Public Safety. 

On Feb. 24, a vehicle was reported to be keyed in the student parking lot. Upon review of the camera, a person of interest was identified.  The information was forwarded to Madison Police, who ended up arresting the individual.
