Help provided for students in need during the holidays

Tessa Morhardt, Editor-in-chief

Santa’s Wish List is back again this year. This program helps support students with children who are in financial need by helping provide Christmas gifts for their children.

Those who want to sign up for this program will need to provide a form that shows you are in financial need, such as a financial aid letter, wick letter, etc.

Applications are only online and are due by Nov. 1. Gifts are for children ages 12 and under. Gifts will be up to $25 in value.

People who wish to donate can participate by taking a child’s name off of the giving tree, which will be up by the second week of November.

All ornaments on the tree will have the age of the child and their wish list.

Gifts will be due no later than Nov. 22 at the Truax and Goodman South Student Life Centers.

The Volunteer Center is also looking for volunteers to promote and to table for gift sponsors. Please contact Brianna Stapleton Welch at [email protected]  to volunteer to help with Santa’s Wish List.
