Madison College Public Safety

Officer Lucas Adler

Public Safety Officers respond to many calls for service and we communicate our activities to the college community.  Here are some of the notable incidents from the past couple weeks.

On Sept. 16, it was reported to Public Safety that keys and a wallet were stolen out of a vehicle parked at the Truax Campus.  If you have information regarding this theft or saw anything suspicious, please contact Public Safety.

On Sept. 16, an intoxicated man was found by an Officer on patrol.  The man was found to not be a student and was escorted off campus.

On Sept. 24, a theft of a purse from a vehicle parked at the Goodman South Campus was reported to Public Safety.  If anybody has any information regarding the theft or saw anything suspicious, please contact Public Safety.

Please remember to keep your vehicle locked and to keep any valuables in your vehicle out of sight.  Don’t leave wallets, purses, electronics, etc in your vehicle visible to somebody walking by.  It is best practice to bring these items with you after you park your vehicle.  Public Safety patrols the parking lots throughout the day, but crimes of opportunity can still occur.
