Public Safety Officers respond to many calls for service and we communicate our activities to the college community.  Here are some of the notable incidents from the past couple weeks.

On Sept. 7, officers responded to assist Madison Police Department with flooding occurring on Wright Street. Three vehicles had stalled in the standing water due to the rising water level.

On Sept. 10, an officer attempted contact with multiple people using illegal drugs in the early morning hours. Subjects fled but illegal drugs and paraphernalia was recovered.

On Sept. 13, officers responded to a subject who had collapsed. Officers rendered aid until Madison Paramedics arrived and transported the subject to a local hospital.

Public Safety Update

Never drive through standing water on roadways. There could be debris, wiring or unseen holes that can cause damage to your vehicle.  Simply driving through standing water could cause your vehicle to hydro lock.
