Community holds clothing drive for the people of Syria

The Madison community is organizing an emergency winter clothing drive for the Syrian people. Three local mosques are partnering with the Rahma Relief Foundation. The final date to donate items is September 23, Friday, at 11pm.

The drive is collecting any clothing (children, men, women) and blankets/towels/sheets/cloths that are in good condition and clean. The drive is also collecting wheelchairs, crutches, walkers, and children’s toys, art supplies and books.

  • The East side drop-off is 4002 Lien Rd, Madison.
  • The West side drop-off is 4718 Hammersley Road, Madison.
  • The downtown drop-off is 21 N. Orchard Street.

If these locations are difficult for you to reach, you can bring a bag of clothes/ items to donate to the Clarion office at Truax campus and they will bed delivered to the drive on the East Side Mosque.
