Public Safety report for April 22

Public Safety Officers respond to many calls for service and we communicate our activities to the college community.  Here are some of the notable incidents from this past month.

On April 15, Public Safety Officers took a report of a stolen bicycle.  The Officer filed a report and is attempting to locate the stolen property.  Be sure to always secure your bicycle properly to deter theft.

On April 18, a Public Safety Officer responded to a burglary alarm at the Commercial Avenue campus.  The building was cleared and secured without incident.

On April 19, Public Safety Officers removed a subject who was in the building after hours and was not allowed on campus.  The subject was uncooperative but was removed without incident

Campus Safety Tip of the Month

Public Safety Officers responded to several requests for vehicle unlocks for persons who locked there keys in their vehicles.  A friendly reminder to students and staff, if you lock your keys in your vehicle you may contact Public Safety for assistance.
