The WiscAMP Scholars Program supports students classified as ‘underrepresented minorities’ who plan to transfer from Madison College to four year colleges or universities to complete baccalaureate degrees in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).

The program offers its 4 scholars mentoring support, internship opportunities, and an annual stipend. The scholars for the 2014-2015 school year have already been selected. However, all eligible students are welcome to attend our monthly meetings. Students can determine what majors are considered STEM and whether or not they qualify as ‘eligible’ through the WiscAMP scholars website: http://madisoncollege.edu/wiscamp-scholars-program

The next WiscAMP meeting will be on Friday, Oct. 3, from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. in room A2029. Topics to be covered are:

1. Transferring to a Four Year College from A to Z.

2. Applying for Local and National Scholarships.
