Culinary and Baking & Pastries receive accreditation renewal

The college’s Culinary and baking and Pastries programs received a 7-year, “Exemplary Status,” accreditation renewal from the American Culinary Federation.


Peter Dettmer: “Best New Educator 2012”

Peter S. Dettmer, automated manufacturing instructor completing his graduate degree through the University of Wisconsin-Plateville’s off-campus Master of Science in Adult Education program, has received two teaching awards.


Automotive program offering on-site repairs

The morning and afternoon Service Repair Procedures and Automotive Classes are offering vehicle repair needs for safety inspections, oil changes, coolant flushing, transmission fluid changes, minor electrical repair and the like. Visit room 50A (center wing) to fill out an auto work request.


Beauty Break

The Wisconsin Coalition for the Homeless and the UW-Madison Vets for Vets are selling one hour “Beauty Break” makeovers. For $25, students can buy a ticket and give one away for free to help homeless female veterans get a make-over. Email [email protected] to find out how to get your ticket.
