Need help with researching for an assignment? No problem! The Madison College Library is here to help. Its website has all the resources students need to succeed on their latest assignment. They offer a comprehensive A-to-Z database with information on all topics. Whether you are researching business and marketing or historical nonfiction, the Madsion College Library can help.
To access the Madison College Library, go to the Madison College website and click on the Current Students link in the menu on the top right. After clicking that, you will see a link that says Library on the top right. That will bring you to the Madison College Library website. Once on the website you can click on the color-coded menu and access a whole bunch of resources like the database, films on demand, and tutorials. All these tools will help you succeed.
The database provides access to topics in an A-to-Z format. Clicking on the green “Discover” tab on the left side of the screen will bring up a series of links. You can click one of those links or you can search in the search bar. The search bar will bring up any book, article or film related to your topic. There is an advanced search button to help you with your search.
“Films On Demand” is a database with all sorts of movies and documentaries you can watch to research topics. This is an area of the library website that I used a lot myself. I have used this database of movies to watch documentaries in all different classes.
The tutorial tab is there to assure you avoid silly mistakes. If you click on that tab, you will see links to tutorials on all sorts of topics like choosing a topic, citing your sources, source evaluation tutorials and effective searches help. These links will make sure your assignment is nice and tidy when you turn it in.
The Madison College Library website contains numerous resources for students to use, such as study room reservations or contacting library staff for help. Scroll down on the website and you can schedule an appointment with a librarian for help with research, a tutor for help with homework, or a tech expert for help with your computer needs.
