‘Me Before You’ is heartbreaking

“Me Before You,” originally a book by Jojo Moyes, is a heartbreakingly wonderful love story about a man, Will Traynor, played by actor Sam Claflin, who was paralyzed after a motorcycle hit him on his way to work.

After Will’s paralyses, he had lost the will to live and had been slumping along for two years until Lou Clark, a quirky and bubbly woman, with an odd fashion sense, played by actress Emilia Clarke of “Game of Thrones” fame, is hired by Will’s mother to care of him.

After a rocky start, they form a friendship that takes them on a worldwide tour of Will’s bucket list and a romance like no other.

Jojo Moyes adapted her book to a screenplay herself, and the movie hit theaters on June 3.
