Burger lovers rejoice: new Fuddruckers in area

Fuddruckers has been around since 1980 and is still going strong 30 years later. While Fuddruckers can be found in many places of the world, there are only a couple of them found in our state and many would say it’s too long of a trip for a burger. Until now: the citizens of the Middleton area can now breathe because a Fuddruckers just opened up in Greenway Station.

If you enjoy a throwback type of vibe while you are eating, then Fuddruckers in Middleton is the restaurant to try. Some tables are covered in soda bottle tops while others are plastered with old comics of “Fantastic Four” or “Wonder Woman.” It was nice to feel like I was in another place and time.

With all of the qualities of an old restaurant back in the ‘80s plus the new-age addition of TVs, this Fuddruckers location was really the sight to see.

The menu showed an assortment of options, from World Famous Burgers and onion rings to chicken sandwiches and refreshing shakes. If it’s your first time at a Fuddruckers I would definitely recommend you start with the Original Fudds Burger, which you can add as many toppings to as you like at the self-serve sandwich topping bar. Make sure to add a side of crispy onion rings and upgrade your soda to a shake to satisfy your taste buds, and sink your teeth into the juicy burger.

Although the food was very good, this Fuddruckers location was quite empty. When it was first opened, the hours were quite short, only allowing you to eat during the lunch hours. That probably ruined business a bit, especially since there was no advertising letting people know that they were now fully opened for business.

If you have the time, take a trip down to Middleton and give Fuddruckers a try. It is definitely worth it. The hours are Sunday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-9 p.m. and Friday-Saturday, 11 a.m.-10 p.m.
