The No. 2-ranked Madison College volleyball team continued its winning ways during a week-long home stand with wins over Clark University’s JV and conference foes Joliet Junior College and Milwaukee Area Technical College.

The WolfPack returned home to Redsten Gymnasium following two successful road trips. They went undefeated at the Rochester Invitational and won four out of five at the College of DuPage Invitational, defeating three Top 10 ranked opponents in the process.

A perennial national power, The WolfPack are now 18-1 overall and 4-0 in North Central Community College play.

The WolfPack blistered overmatched Joliet on Sept. 13 winning in straight sets, 25-11, 25-13, 25-10. With friends and family as well as other fellow Madison College sports teams looking on, the WolfPack pulled away late in each of the three games.

Andrea Bauer led the way with 15 kills, while TeAnn Harms had 11 and Keifer Zimmerman had 10. Taylor Genthe had 36 assists in the match.

They showed the same precision the next night, sweeping the Clark University JV team, 25-19, 25-22, 25-18. Led by 16 combined kills from Bauer and Megan Corcoran, the WolfPack defeated Clark for the second time this season and the eight straight time overall.

Another routine victory for Madison College was in store on Sept. 15 as they overwhelmed Milwaukee, 25-10, 25-6, 25-8. It was the WolfPack’s fourth straight victory without losing a set and 10th-straight victory overall.

The WolfPack face perhaps the biggest test of the season on Sept. 22 when they host the No. 1 team in the country, Harper College. Two more home games follow, against Rock Valley College on Sept. 29 and College of DuPage on Oct. 4, before the team returns to the road for the remainder of the season.
