A pair of victories in the South Suburban Triangular on Sept. 19 extended the Madison College volleyball team’s current winning streak to seven matches an improved its record to 16-2.
During their seven-match winning streak, the 20th-ranked WolfPack has only lost one set – to Lakeland University’s junior varsity squad on Sept. 16.
Madison College opened the South Suburban Triangular with a 25-18, 25-14 and 25-20 victory over Kankakee Community College.
Outside hitter Ella Vosberg led the team with 13 kills, while Allie Andrews had 39 assists. Sam Schultz recorded 19 digs in the match.
Madison College was even more dominant in its victory over South Suburban College, winning, 25-9, 25-8 and 25-17. Vosberg again led the WolfPack in kills with eight, while Andrews had 26 assists.
Following a match at Rock Valley College on Sept. 25, the WolfPack will play in the Parkland College Tournament on Oct. 3-4. The next home match will be against Bryant and Stratton College on Oct. 7 at 6 p.m.

Madison College 3, Lakeland University JV 1
Madison College continued its unbeaten streak against Lake University, winning, 3-1, on Sept. 16 to extend its all-time record against the Muskies to 13-0. The WolfPack won the match, 25-13, 20-25, 25-15 and 25-12.
Freshman Sam Schultz led the way with a career-high 17 kills, while fellow freshman Allie Andrews posted her fourth double-double of the year. Andrews had 41 assists and 13 digs. Makayla Dallas had 12 kills and a team-high six aces in the match.
Madison College 3, Waubonsee Community College 0
A 3-0 victory over Waubonsee Community College on Sept. 13 meant Madison College won all four matches it played in its own tournament without losing a single set. The WolfPack dominated, 25-11, 25-14 and 25-9.
Ella Vosberg’s 10 kills and .500 efficiency was tops for Madison College, with Sam Schultz second with nine kills. Setter Allie Andrews had 27 assists and led the team with two blocks and seven digs.
Madison College 3, Illinois Central College 0
A fast start helped Madison College overcome 13th-ranked Illinois Central College, 3-0, on Sept. 13 in the Madison College Tournament.
The WolfPack won the first set, 25-11, after jumping out to a 10-3 lead. They then won the next two sets, 25-20 and 25-19.
Madison College had 40 kills in the match, led by Makayla Dallas who had 14 kills, two aces and six digs. Ella Vosberg added 10 kills, while Allie Andrews had 38 assists.
Madison College 3, Spoon River College 0
After a quick first two sets, Madison College had to battle back in the third set to beat Spoon River College, 3-0, on Sept. 12. The WolfPack trailed, 19-18, late in the final set, but answered with six straight points to score a 25-10, 25-14 and 25-19 victory.
Ella Vosberg and Sam Schultz led the team in kills with 13 each, while Caylee Coggins had eight kills. Allie Andrews had 44 assists, while Avery Agnew recorded 18 digs.
Madison College 3, Lincoln Land Community College 0
Madison College opened its own tournament with a 3-0 victory over Lincoln Land Community College on Sept. 12, winning, 25-17, 25-13 and 25-20.
Ella Vosberg led the WolfPack with 11 kills on 21 attempts, while Sam Schultz added nine kills and Makayla Dallas had seven. Allie Andrews posted 34 assists, while Avery Agnew had nine digs.
