Men’s Basketball

Sean Suchomel

A 6-foot guard, Sean Suchomel is in his first year with the Madison College men’s basketball team. He has played in 29 games this season and averages 9.4 points a game and 6 rebounds. He has a total of 129 assists this year. Suchomel scored a season-high 23 points on Feb. 21 against the College of DuPage.

A two sport athlete at Sun Prairie High School (basketball and golf), Suchomel was twiced named his team’s best defensive player. He earned honorable mention all conference his senior year. The son of Jeffery Suchomel, he is a liberal arts transfer student.

Women’s Basketball

Danee Collier

A 5-foot, 4-inch freshman guard from Cintonville, Wis., Danee Collier has played in 14 games this season for the Madison College women’s basketball team. She averaged 3.8 points a game, had 57 total rebounds and 29 assists. She scored a season-high 13 points against McHenry County College on Nov. 1.

A five-sport athlete at Bonduel High School, she was named team captain and team MVP in basketball her senior season. She was also a letter winner in volleyball, track, softball and swimming.

The daughter of Dan and Diane Collier, she is a a business major at Madison College.
