The Yahara Journal is hosting a Halloween Celebration on Thursday, Oct. 30, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the WolfPack Den at the Truax Campus. The event will include an open mic, with students invited to share their favorite scary stories. 

In addition, the Yahara Journal will announce the winners of its Scary Story and Artwork Contest during the event. Costumes are encouraged. 

A free caramel apple bar will also be available for students at the event. 

The Yahara Journal is Madison College’s student-run fine arts and literary journal. The group’s fall writing and artwork contest will run through Dec. 3. Students can enter up to five items at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/YaharaJournalContest.
