Madison College will hold auditions on October 28-29 for a Nov. 15 staged reading of A FEW GOOD MEN by Aaron Sorkin, directed by Dana Pellebon.
The play—from which the 1992 film was adapted—requires 12-14 men and 1 woman. (Some male roles can be cast as female or nonbinary.)
Two Marines are on trial for their complicity in the death of a fellow Marine at Guantanamo Bay. The Navy lawyer assigned to defend them assumes a plea bargain at first. When a woman on his defense team finds holes in the case, their efforts to uncover the truth intensify.
Auditions will include readings from the script. (The role of Lt. Col. Nathan Jessep has been precast.) No
Auditioners must be prepared to share contact information and scheduling conflicts from the audition date through November 15. Those cast can expect three rehearsals leading to the public staged reading.
