Culinary Express is now open at the storefront located at Truax Room C1418, around the corner from the cafeteria. Students and staff can stop in and try the creations prepared by Madison College’s first-year culinary arts students this semester.
The storefront is open from noon to 1 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The weekly entrées are available for $7.
The menu for the remainder of the semester is:
- Oct. 21-23 – Soups du jour, grilled cheese sandwich.
- Oct. 28-30 –Soups du jour, grilled cheese sandwich.
- Nov. 4-6 – Pork chops with creole sauce, cocotte potatoes, charred broccolini.
- Nov. 11-13 – Beef tenderloin with zucchini saute provencale, potato dauphinoise, maître d’hôtel butter, sauce marchand de vin.
- Nov. 18-20 – Beef fried rice or chicken and vegetable stir fry, jasmine rice.
- Dec. 2-4 – Market salads.
