
The Madison College Parenting Student Club has bi-monthly meetings where students can socialize, providing a safe space for them to share their parenting journeys, as well as engage in parent-child activities.
Who can participate? Students who define themselves as caregivers.
What’s your next major event or activity? We have several events planned for September to honor Student-Parent Month. Those events are:
- Madison Children’s Museum on Sept. 11 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Snacks and refreshments provided.
- Kids on the Prairie-Holy Wisdom Monastery on Sept. 14 from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Seed collection, taste testing and apple picking are some of the activities that will be happening.
- Zoo field trip on Sept. 20 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., asking parenting student to meet in Gate 9 by the Discovery Center where the big turtle is located. Snacks provided.
- Soccer Game on Sept. 24 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Irwin A & Robert D. Goodman Sports Complex. Parenting Student and children enter for free, face painting and balloon artist.

When and where does the club meet? Club meets hybrid via a Microsoft Team or in person in room AB132. The first and Third Thursday of the month. Children are welcome!
