If you love metal, demons, guns and dragons, then you will love “Doom: The Dark Ages.” This game puts you in the place of the slayer, a demigod of war battling the hordes of hell with a massive arsenal of guns and leading the armies of humanity against the demonic army of hell and its dark prince.
The game is an amazing heavy metal, demon-slaying power fantasy that is brutal in everything. From the combat to the demon boss fights, the intensity is always present.
There’s a “Game of Thrones” like political games going on between the empire of hell and the forces of humanity. The game has a great story, visuals and settings.
At times, you have command of a Mecha Dragon to battle demon warships. Other times, you will stand in as an Atlan mech to face demonic giants. The game has amazing load outs and every moment is filled with action and brutal boss fights.
“Doom: The Dark Ages” is everything I love in a first-person shooter. It makes you feel like a god of war. Not everyone will enjoy it due to the blood and gore, but I say get ready to go into “The Dark Ages” blazing.
