The new Goodman South Campus, located at 2429 Perry Street, opened its doors on Sept. 3 for students to take classes in a variety of  programs.

Madison College will celebrate the new building’s opening with a ceremony that will be held on Saturday, Sept. 28, from noon to 4 p.m. The event is open to the public.

There will be several activities to enjoy during the ceremony:

• A formal ceremony begins at 1 p.m. with Ho-Chunk blessing.
• Welcoming remarks from local and stated selected officials, Madison College, and community representatives.
• Recognition of Goodman South Campus benefactors.
• Comments from business community representatives.
• Performance by the Madison Gospel Choir.
• A ribbon cutting.
• Music by the Madison Community Jazz band.

There will also be guided tours of the new Goodman South Campus throughout the afternoon.
